Private mail and scheduling connector

Read with Claude.
Review and send in Gmail.

Neil Mail connects its owner’s authorised Gmail accounts to Claude. It helps find and read email, saves unsent drafts directly in Gmail, and organises selected messages with custom labels and archiving.

How it works

  1. The owner connects each Gmail account through Google’s consent screen.
  2. Claude uses the local connector to search or read requested messages and prepare drafts.
  3. The owner opens those drafts in the Gmail app or website, edits them and chooses whether to send.

The connector can also create custom labels, apply or remove them on selected messages, archive messages and return archived messages to the inbox when requested. It can also update or delete explicitly selected unsent drafts and manage approved recurring filters. Filters can add one custom label, skip the inbox or mark matching future mail as read. It has no Gmail sending, received-message deletion, trashing or forwarding tool.

Personal Calendar and Tasks

With separate Google consent for the owner’s personal account, Neil Mail can read and manage calendar events and tasks. It supports invitations, changes to one recurring occurrence or a whole series, and task creation, completion and deletion. The owner manages tool approvals in Claude. Calendar invitations and cancellations can send emails to guests; these are separate from Gmail draft-only tools.

Calendar and task information returned to Claude is processed by Anthropic. The other connected Gmail accounts do not receive Calendar or Tasks access.

Private use

Neil Mail is operated by Neil Costen for his own authorised accounts. It is not available for public registration. This website provides information about the connector; it does not connect to or display a mailbox.
